Cinema Ida is an institution in the area. Until recently, we would screen Italian movies, accompanied by a three course meal on the last Sunday of every month. Strangers would gather together in the candlelit dining room to watch a film, and when the lights came up, break bread together, often wiping away a surreptitious tear. And while, sadly, we can no longer open these events to the general public, we are still able to organise private film screenings for large family groups or bubbles.
Similarly, while private parties can no longer be the raucous affairs of old (dancing on tables, singers, Austrian cowbells, to name but a few) we are still delighted to host smaller groups wishing to celebrate special occasions.
